CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

The new COO will develop and execute the Company’s strategies related to property management of the
B2B RECURSOS HUMANOS is selecting CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER for a well-established company in the tourism sector, dedicated to vacation apartment rentals in the province of Málaga.

The new COO will develop and execute the company’s strategies related to asset operations, leading team members across the assigned property portfolio, and implementing and continually improving policies, procedures, and practices that ensure overall P&L performance. The goal is to meet and exceed budgeted financial targets and achieve optimal operational and people outcomes.


KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish and execute the company’s strategies and practices related to property management operations, meeting and exceeding budgeted financial goals and delivering on operational and team performance objectives.

Own the company P&L. Develop and monitor budgets and processes for the company, ensuring attainment of targets through the analysis of financial statements and by collaborating with the team to address and resolve financial gaps.

Provide supportive and inspiring leadership by interviewing, hiring, training, and managing team members in alignment with company policies, values, and best practices.

Manage operations with a focus on cost optimisation and lean processes to enhance efficiency and productivity, implementing solutions that drive operational excellence.

Lead onboarding of new assets and oversee key account management, ensuring productive cross-functional collaboration to achieve project deliverables.

Stay ahead of industry trends in technology and business integration, supporting strategy development and implementation.

Ensure legal and administrative best practices are upheld and continuously improved.

Analyse market and competitor data that may impact performance, and collaborate with the team to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that drive KPIs such as ADR, occupancy, and revenue.

Define and establish procurement needs and build relationships for the acquisition of operating supplies, equipment, and essential services.

Strive for excellence in guest experience, contributing to the development of a 5-star quality brand through memorable, expectation-exceeding experiences.

Ensure the physical aspects and appearance of the properties meet company standards through routine inspections, raising capital requests as needed to maintain asset performance.


KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, and/or MBA.
  • Strong proficiency in business systems such as CRM, Excel (advanced level), and BI analytical tools.
  • Solid understanding of Spanish legislation related to tenant property and building management or relevant qualification.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-site operations, ideally in leisure, retail, hospitality, or property sectors.
  • Track record of successfully bringing new assets, products, or services to operational readiness.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

DESIRABLE

OFFER

Role based in Málaga.

Permanent employment contract.

Full-time position.

Working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (rotating based on business needs).

Salary: €30,000 – €45,000 + variable (to be determined).
